Manos del Uruguay operates as a non-profit with 12 cooperatives. These co-ops are deeply woven into small village communities across Uruguay, with profits either shared among members or reinvested into the organisation. As a proud member of the World Fair Trade Organization since 2009, Manos del Uruguay values equity and transparency in international trade.
The organisation holds a strong commitment to preserving Uruguay's crafts, traditions, and natural resources, beautifully demonstrated through their distinct, hand-dyed yarns.
